The Next Steps Initiative
In addition to personalized and customized coaching and development, LOC offers its signature group leadership program.
LOC supports training and development across all age groups, including the newest generations. A signature program of LOC is its Next Steps Initiative leadership development program. The program targets grammar school students, high school students, young adults, and new professionals. It is a dynamic and interactive 10-week hybrid (Face-to-Face & Virtual) group session that offers a range of content from goal setting and project management to emotional intelligence and public speaking. It culminates in an “Open Pitch” event that allows participants to use information gained and skills developed, throughout the program, to develop and present an organizational, entrepreneurial, or community idea. Ideas are pitched to a diverse group of potential sponsors for monetary, developmental, or mentorship support.
